What are the components of the mechanical seal in the reactor

1 The seal between the static ring and the static ring seat of the reactor is the static seal of the reactor. Generally, an elastic auxiliary sealing ring is used to prevent leakage.

2 The seal between the static ring seat of the reactor and the equipment is also the static seal of the reactor, which can be sealed with ordinary gaskets.

3 The seal between the moving ring of the reactor and the shaft (sleeve), which is also a relatively static seal, is usually sealed with an O-ring.

The above three places are all static seals, and measures can be taken to prevent leakage.

4 The relative rotating seal between the static ring and the moving ring of the reaction kettle belongs to the dynamic seal, which relies on the spring loading device and the medium pressure to rotate relative to each other. A suitable pressing force is generated on the contact surface (end surface) between the static ring and the moving ring, so that the two smooth and straight end surfaces are closely attached, and a thin layer of fluid is maintained between the end surfaces to achieve the purpose of sealing.
