When carbon graphite is chemically attacked, PTFE filled with filler is used as the soft sealing surface material. PTFE has excellent self-lubricity and corrosion resistance, and is often used in dry friction, extremely low temperature, strong alkali solutions and solvents. However, it has low thermal conductivity and poor heat resistance, and the sealing surface will be thermally deformed under the action of frictional heat.
