The soft material of mechanical seal material (4):

The carbon graphite material can be treated with cinnamon to obtain silicon graphite (silicon carbide-carbon composite material). The methods of silicidation include chemical vapor reaction (CVR) and liquid cassia infiltration. The chemical vapor reaction method is adopted by the United States and Japan, while the liquid silicon infiltration method is used in Russia and Germany. The former Si or SiO gas undergoes a silicidation reaction at a high temperature of 1800~2200℃ to convert the carbon surface into SiC; while the latter uses liquid silicon instead of Si vapor or SiO vapor and CVR is also subjected to silicidation.
