When purchasing mechanical seals for use, most users will buy according to the specifications and colors of the samples, which will only increase the difficulty of purchasing, and may not be able to choose suitable products. The following procedure is recommended to improve seal accuracy:

1. Movement direction - first determine the movement direction of the geographical location of the seal, such as reciprocating, rotating, screwing or fixing.

2. Sealing points - for example, determine the active point to be sealed on the inner diameter tie rod or the active point to be sealed on the diameter piston, etc.

3. Temperature class - check or evaluate the working temperature according to the actual working environment, and determine the required application materials. The relevant temperature rating indicates that the following production customer notes are available.

4. Size--Most users will buy according to the used old samples, but after a period of use, the seal will be covered by temperature. Factors such as pressure and damage have a great influence on its original size. Selection based on samples is for reference only. A better method is to measure the metal groove specification of the seal's geographic location, which will have greater accuracy.

5. Pressure level - Check the relevant data in the original mechanical specification, or infer the working pressure level by observing the hardness and structure of the original seal. The relevant pressure levels can be referred to the following notes for production customers.
