(1) Determination of equipment standards

When the device should use the imported mechanical seal described in the product or sample book, the mechanical seal is guaranteed to be standard equipment.

(2) Before loading, the shaft (shaft sleeve) and gland should be free of burrs, and the bearings should be in good condition; the seals, shafts, seal chambers, and glands should all be cleaned and cleaned by the Grundfos China Mechanical Design Sealing System. In order to reduce the resistance caused by trade friction, the sealing part of the equipment on the shaft should be coated with a thin layer of oil to make it smoother. With oil, soapy water can be applied. The floating static ring does not have an anti-rotation pin structure, so it is not suitable to be oiled, and it should be installed in the gland dry.

(3) Install on the shaft with the first fixed seal ring and gland production, pay attention not to collide with the shaft, and the load ring assembly. Tension spring seats or seats that drive set screws should be tightened evenly several times.

Before the gland is fixed, push the compensating ring by hand to tighten it axially. After loosening, the compensating ring can spring back at an automatic speed without any stagnation, and then lock the gland bolts evenly.
