1. Weighing method

This method is to determine the amount of wear by observing the changes in the metallographic structure before and after the wear of the friction end, especially when studying corrosion wear and fatigue wear, this method is better. Metallographic analysis can also be observed using electron microscopes and electron probes.

5. Chemical Analysis

The method is to analyze the composition and total amount of wear particles by chemical qualitative and quantitative methods, and can also be carried out by means of spectral and chromatographic analysis methods.

In addition to the above methods, detection methods such as radioisotope method and radioactive indicator can also be used to measure the end face wear.
