Mechanical seal installation and use requirements

Mechanical seal placement and use requirements:

1. Requirements for mechanical precision of mechanical seals (taking mechanical seals for pumps as an example)

(1) The radial runout of the shaft (or shaft sleeve) where the mechanical seal is installed should not exceed 0.04~0.06mm at most. (2) The axial movement of the rotor shall not exceed 0.3mm.

(3) The runout from the positioning end face of the combined seal cavity and seal end cover to the surface of the shaft (or sleeve) should not exceed 0:04~0:06mm at most. 2: The seal is confirmed.

(1) Confirm whether the installed seal is consistent with the required model.

(2) Before installation, carefully compare the general assembly drawing to see whether the number of parts is complete.

(3) Mechanical seals driven by parallel springs can be divided into left-handed and right-handed, which should be selected according to the torsion direction of the torsion shaft. In order to reduce frictional resistance, the mechanical seal parts installed on the shaft should be lubricated with a thin layer of lubricating oil. Considering the compatibility of the rubber O-ring, if the oil is not suitable, you can apply soapy water.

The floating static ring has no anti-rotation pin layout, and it is dry installed in the gland without oiling.
