fish tank habitat

I have had several different fish tanks over the years.
As a plumber, I will put any type of mechanical fitting or valve into the tank as a habitat.
Always aggressive fish, ball valve provides a good shelter for small fish.
Also, when there is no food, a really mean fish will go after reflection.
You need a ball valve and a crescent wrench.
* This manual is on a type of ball valve.
The only difference from other types of ball valves is that you put it on a pair and open it with a pipe wrench.
* Using the Crescent, remove all nuts including the packing nut under the handle.
Remove handle, Bolt, O-
Ring, Teflon seal.
Position the stem to the closing position with the Crescent so that the slot will let the ball roll out.
In this photo I put the ball on the wrap nut.
Usually the ball is in the gravel.
This ball valve is also 1 1/4, but several feeders will be fully installed in 3/4Port ball valve.
