Application of double end face gas film mechanical seal (1):

The double end face seal device shown in Figure 4-19 is a back-to-back gas film mechanical seal. The device has a pressurized blocking gas, and there is a back pressure thrust ring on the medium side seal seat to prevent pressure reversal. The isolation gas with higher pressure is introduced from the medium side and the sealing product side. The sealing device is suitable for situations where the sealed medium is not allowed to enter the atmosphere due to its chemical, process or environmental reasons. 250B mechanical seal

The sealed cavity with double-end gas film seal is filled with pressurized and clean blocked gas from the gas supply system, and its pressure should be 0.2MPa higher than the pressure of the sealed medium, in order to separate the sealed end faces. The blocked gas enters the sealed medium side through the primary seal (inner seal), and enters the atmosphere side through the secondary seal (outer seal).　　972.html,
