This change in mechanical seal bolt force is governed by many factors, including pre-tightening tools and methods, temperature, pressure and cycle, bolt degeneration, gasket creep relaxation, etc. Among them, uniform and sufficient pre-tightening force of bolts is sufficient. An important factor to achieve long-term reliable sealing, but it is very difficult to achieve this in assembly.
There are many factors that affect the bolt pre-tightening force, such as tightening tools, operator and control accuracy, short-term slack and part blockage, etc., which makes the bolt force quite dispersed. Moreover, even when a torque wrench is used, the nut and the The friction coefficient between the thread and the supporting surface is different, and the bolt pre-tightening force has a large dispersion band (±50%).
