1) The quality and operation of the mechanical seal device of the esterification feedback kettle has an important impact on the operating life of the seal installation. When installing multi-spring mechanical seals, spring warpage should be avoided to ensure that the mechanical seal has a suitable shrinkage. Generally, the shrinkage of a single-end seal is 4-6mm, and the shrinkage of a double-end seal is twice that of a single-end seal. , that is, take 8-12mm. Excessive compression will not only reduce the PV value of the sealing end face, but also cause the spring stress to rise, thereby accelerating the fatigue damage of the spring. Therefore, when adjusting the compression of the spring, it should be carried out strictly according to the process requirements.
2) Avoid dry friction of the friction pair. Due to the high operating temperature and pressure of the esterification feedback kettle, the working conditions of the friction pair are very harsh. When the temperature is above 300°C, the lubricating medium is easy to gasify. Once the lubricating film between the friction pairs is destroyed, dry friction will occur, resulting in damage to the sealing surface. Therefore, ensuring the dredging of the flushing oil in the esterification feedback kettle is an important measure to avoid dry friction.
3) Abrasion is an important cause of the low-temperature esterification feedback kettle seal failure. Unevenness or thermal deformation of the end face of the friction pair, abrasive particles in the friction pair caused by impurities in the medium, etc., will cause early wear of the sealing end face, so choose the appropriate material for the dynamic and static rings and choose a suitable clean cooling lubricating medium. Reducing the load coefficient of the end face and preventing thermal deformation of the seal can effectively improve the service life of the seal.
