What should be paid attention to in the installation of mechanical seals?








Mechanical seal installation:
(1) When the temperature of the medium conveyed by the mechanical seal is too high or too low, or contains impurity particles, is flammable, explosive, or toxic, it is necessary to take corresponding measures such as blocking, flushing, cooling, and filtering.
(2) Turn the car by hand before operation, and pay attention to whether the torque is too large, whether there is friction sound or abnormal sound.

(3) Pay attention to the direction of rotation, whether the coupling is aligned, whether the lubricating oil of the mechanical seal on the bearing part is properly added, and whether the pipeline is correct.
(4) Whether the work is stable after driving, and whether there is any abnormal torque caused by shaft rotation, abnormal noise, overheating, etc.
(5) Before operation, first open the valves of the medium and cooling water, check whether the gas in the mechanical seal chamber is completely discharged to prevent leakage caused by static pressure, and then start the machine for operation.
