Mechanical seal shaft sleeve inspection
1) Check the rust and wear after the shaft sleeve is removed. If the rust or wear is relatively light, it can be polished with fine sandpaper and reused. If the rust or wear is serious, it can be electroplated after processing or replaced with a new shaft. set.
2. Mechanical seal o-ring
1) After a period of application, the sealing ring loses its elasticity or ages in most cases, and generally needs to be replaced with a new ring.
3. Mechanical seal spring
1) If the spring is corroded and not serious, it can maintain its original elasticity, so it does not need to be replaced. If the rust is tight or the elasticity is reduced a lot, you need to replace the new spring.
2) For mechanical seals with assembly boxes, the box should be cleaned, and the grooves should be checked for wear or deformation, so as to correct and repair, re-groove or replace.
3) After the mechanical seal components are repaired, reassemble them. After assembly, also carry out pressure tests, and then put them into normal operation.
