The inspection items for the mechanical seal before the slurry pump is used are as follows: ①Before the slurry pump is started, the mechanical seal of the pump needs to check the attached equipment of the mechanical seal, and whether the cooling and smooth system is perfected. ②The material pipeline should be cleaned before starting to prevent rust impurities from entering the sealed cavity. ③ Rotate the coupling by hand to check whether the shaft rotates easily. If the rotation is heavy, check whether the dimensions of the relevant device are correct. ④ Before normal driving, a static pressure test is required to check the sealing effect of the end face of the mechanical seal, the sealing ring and the sealing end cover. If in doubt, check and deal with it one by one. ⑤Before the slurry pump is started, the sealed cavity should be filled with liquid or sealed medium. If there is a separate sealing system, it should be started, and the cooling water system should also start to flow. ⑥Before normal use, perform normal pressure work first to investigate whether the temperature rise of the sealing part is normal and whether there is any leakage. If there is a slight leakage, it can run for a period of time to make the end face fit more evenly, until the leakage is gradually reduced to a normal stop. If you work for 1-3 hours and the amount of leakage is still not reduced, you need to park your car to check. ⑦When working under normal working conditions, the pressure rise and temperature rise can be carried out slowly, and pay attention to the temperature rise and leakage of the end face. If everything is normal, it can be put into production and use.
