Therefore, the quality of the mechanical seal directly affects the working efficiency of the slurry pump. Therefore, before using the slurry pump, be sure to check the mechanical seal. The inspection items of the mechanical seal before the use of the slurry pump are as follows: ① Before the slurry pump is started, the mechanical seal of the pump needs to check the attached equipment of the mechanical seal, and whether the cooling and smoothing system is well dredged. ②The material pipeline should be cleaned before starting to prevent rust impurities from entering the sealing cavity. ③ Move the coupling by hand to check whether the shaft rotates easily. If the disc is heavy, check whether the dimensions of the relevant device are correct. ④Before the normal driving, it is necessary to carry out a static pressure test to check the sealing effect of the end face of the mechanical seal, the sealing ring and the sealing end cover. If in doubt, check and deal with them one by one. ⑤Before starting the slurry pump, the sealing chamber should be filled with liquid or sealed medium. If there is a separate sealing system, it should be started, and the cooling water system must also start to flow. ⑥Before normal use, carry out normal pressure work to check whether the temperature rise of the sealing part is normal and whether there is leakage. If there is a slight leakage, it can be run for a period of time to make the end face fit more evenly, until the amount of leakage is gradually reduced to a normal stop. If the leakage is still not reduced after 1-3 hours of work, it is necessary to park the car for inspection. ⑦ In normal working conditions, the boosting and heating can be carried out slowly, respectively, and pay attention to the temperature rise and leakage of the end face. If everything is normal, it can be put into production and use.
