4. Be sure to wear clean gloves when installing the oil seal. There should be no sharp foreign objects such as aluminum shavings on the gloves. 5. Oil seal grease should be smeared in a standard manner. Excessive smearing of grease will cause the grease to melt and flow out of the transmission, causing misjudgment by customers or staff, which is often referred to as 'false oil leakage'.
