If the pump mechanical seal leaks when the pump is started, and there is no damage when the sealing surface is dismantled and inspected, then the deformation of the mechanical seal should be checked with a flat crystal. If deformation occurs, use a flat crystal to check the change of the interference band of the sealing surface. The dynamic sealing system of the cylinder block adopts the main sealing design, generally using a U-shaped sealing ring. The design of the reciprocating dynamic sealing system of the hydraulic cylinder began to use a more complex composite design of U-ring and coaxial sealing components. The sealed static ring is usually fixed on the housing, and the moving ring rotates with the shaft through a spring and a spring seat. The gaps formed by the static ring and the casing, the moving ring and the shaft are sealed with forming packings. A relative sliding surface, that is, a dynamic sealing surface, is formed on the end surfaces of the movable ring and the stationary ring in contact. In order to ensure good sealing, the dynamic sealing surface should be very straight and smooth. The spring force and the pressure of the fluid being sealed keep the moving ring against the stationary ring. Since the moving ring and the shaft are connected by a spring, the fit between the moving ring and the static ring is less affected by the vibration and swing of the shaft. The static ring is generally made of soft materials with good lubricity such as graphite, filled PTFE, etc., and the moving ring is mostly made of cemented carbide, ceramics and other materials.
