(3) The end of the shaft (or sleeve) where the moving ring seal is installed, and the chamfer and finish of the end structure of the housing hole where the mechanical seal is installed. (4) The axial displacement of the rotating shaft of the mechanical seal during operation 3 , During the process of installing the mechanical seal, keep it clean, and it is not allowed to knock the sealing element with tools to prevent damage and destruction. 4. When installing, the surface of the moving and static rings should be coated with a layer of clean engine oil and turbine oil. The auxiliary sealing ring (including the moving ring sealing ring and the static ring sealing ring) should also be coated with a layer of clean engine oil or turbine oil before installation to ensure smooth installation. 5. After putting the static ring seal ring on the back of the static ring, install it into the sealing end cover. Take care not to damage the end face of the static ring. Make sure that the end face of the static ring is perpendicular to the center line of the end cover. Align the anti-rotation pins, but do not touch them. 6. The rotating part of the mechanical seal is fixed with the shaft by the two fixing screws on the spring seat. When tightening the fixing screws, the working length of the spring must be ensured. 2. Use of mechanical seal 1. Before the main engine starts, check the attached device of the mechanical seal and whether the cooling and lubricating system is perfect and unobstructed. 2. The material pipeline should be cleaned before starting to prevent rust impurities from entering the sealed cavity. 3. Rotate the coupling by hand to check whether the shaft rotates easily. If the rotation is heavy, check whether the installation dimensions are correct. 4. Before normal driving, a static pressure test is required to check the sealing effect of the end face of the mechanical seal, the sealing ring and the sealing end cover. If there is any problem, check and solve it one by one. 5. Before the main engine is started, the sealed cavity should be kept full of liquid or sealed medium. If there is a separate sealing system, it should be started, and the cooling water system must also start to circulate. 6. Before normal use, perform normal pressure operation first to observe whether the temperature rise of the sealing part is normal and whether there is leakage. If there is a slight leakage, you can run in for a period of time to make the end face fit more evenly, until the leakage is gradually reduced to normal. If the leakage does not decrease after 1-3 hours of operation, you need to stop for inspection. 7. In normal working conditions, the pressure rise and temperature rise can be carried out slowly, and pay attention to the temperature rise and leakage of the end face. If everything is normal, it can be put into production. When stopping, the main engine should be stopped first, and then the cooling and lubrication system should be stopped.
