Definition of mechanical seal for kettle:

The mechanical seal for the kettle is an ideal way to solve the sealing of the stirring shaft. According to the logarithm of the sealing surface, there are single-end mechanical seals and double-end mechanical seals. Double mechanical seals are generally equipped with a balanced circulation system, which can be used in flammable, explosive, toxic and corrosive, high vacuum and other occasions with stricter sealing requirements. The sealing structure is an external flushing structure. The flushing fluid can be clean water or industrial reuse water. The pressure of the flushing fluid is lower than the pressure of the sealing chamber. The flushing fluid is input at the upper end of the auxiliary sleeve, and is output at the lower end of the auxiliary sleeve for recycling. The seal plays the role of cooling and flushing. The auxiliary devices of the mechanical seal include a thermostat, a balance tank (isolated fluid container), and a forced circulation balance system.

Installation instructions for the mechanical seal for the kettle:

1. Check whether the model and specification of the mechanical seal to be installed are correct.
2. Check whether the dimensional accuracy, geometric accuracy and mutual relationship between the host and the installation of the mechanical seal meet the technical requirements. There are mainly the following aspects:
(1) The radial runout tolerance of the shaft (or shaft sleeve) where the mechanical seal is installed, the surface finish of the shaft (or shaft sleeve) and the dimensional tolerance of the outer diameter.
(2) The vertical tolerance of the sealing cavity and the gland combined with the positioning end facing the center line of the shaft (or shaft sleeve).
(3) The end of the shaft (or shaft sleeve) where the moving ring seal is installed, and the chamfering and smoothness of the end structure of the housing hole where the mechanical seal is installed.
(4) The axial displacement of the rotating shaft of the mechanical seal when it is working.
3. During the installation of the mechanical seal, it should be kept clean, and it is not allowed to hit the sealing element with tools to prevent damage and damage.
4. During installation, the surfaces of the dynamic and static rings should be coated with a layer of clean engine oil and turbine oil. The auxiliary sealing ring (including the dynamic ring sealing ring and the static ring sealing ring) should also be coated with a layer of clean engine oil or turbine oil before installation to ensure smooth installation.
5. Put the static ring sealing ring on the back of the static ring and put it into the sealing end cover. Be careful not to damage the end face of the static ring. Make sure that the end face of the static ring is perpendicular to the center line of the end cover, and pay attention to the anti-rotation groove on the back of the static ring. Align the anti-rotation pins, but do not touch.
6. The rotating part of the mechanical seal is fixed with the shaft by two fixing screws on the spring seat. When tightening the fixing screws, the working length of the spring must be guaranteed.
