How to Repair a Senco Nail Gun

Senco nail guns improve the productivity of wood workers and carpenters.The normal wear and tear of these tools can cause some common performance problems that can often be identified and fixed.If the appropriate replacement parts are purchased and installed according to the user\'s requirements, the Senco nail gun will provide superior performance for many years.
Disconnect the nail gun from the air supply.Remove all nails or nail strips from the inside of the nail gun.Place the nail gun on a hard working surface, spread a clean rag and store the removed parts on it.
Check the O-ring seal in the gun to maintain high pressure.Remove the head cover and then look for cracks or deformity in the head valve or head cover Assembly.Visually check the O-ring to find cracks or other damage that may cause air leakage in the vent.
Replace any worn or cracked parts.
Reconnect the head cover.
Check the O-ring pressurized to the trigger system.Remove the side cover and then look for a crack or deformity in the trigger assembly.Visually check the O-ring for cracks or other damage that may cause a leak in the trigger seat.
Replace any worn or cracked parts.
Check the O-ring pressurized to the cylinder and main power supply system.Remove the main cylinder and then look for cracks or deformity in the cylinder wall or piston assembly.Visually check the O-ring for cracks or other damage that may cause air leakage in the main cylinder.
Replace any worn or cracked parts.
Reconnect the main cylinder and side housing.Check the corner of the nail used in the nail gun.If the Senco nail is not used, there may be an incompatible strip angle.
The Senco nail gun requires a nail angle of 34 degrees. if the nail is fixed together by paper parts, a nail angle of 22 degrees is required.Remove the drive blade mechanism.Even if there is enough air pressure, if the drive blade is slightly bent or badly scratched, it will not return completely to the neutral position, making it unable to collect the next nail on the strap.
Check whether the drive blade shaft is straight.If the bending is severely scratched or over worn, replace it.Assembly drive blade mechanism.Lubricate all moving parts with a very small amount of oil.
Remove any visible rust with fine steel wool and oil.Wipe all parts with a clean rag
